Maritza Basaran has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Health, and a Master of Science degree in Behaviour Analysis. She has worked on multiple research teams throughout her career and is currently a Research Coordinator and Knowledge Broker at Grandview Kids. In this role, Maritza focuses on evidence synthesis to support clinical practice, as well as strengthening the research initiatives available to clients and families. Maritza is co-chair of the Grandview Kids IDEA Committee where she works to promote wellness and diversity among the Grandview Kids community. In both her research and EDI work, Maritza is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of evidence-based quality improvements within children’s health care centres in Ontario.
