Brendan is passionate about finding new and innovative approaches to address the ever-increasing pressures on pediatric rehabilitation. He believes in an “open innovation” approach, prioritizing partnerships with Universities, Colleges, and industry to help identify new opportunities for improvement. Brendan believes that partnerships and the ability to challenge the status quo are key to improving access to care, quality of treatment, and cost-effectiveness of services. Brendan is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Waterloo, supporting research into experiential learning and teaching. He leverages this experience to create opportunities for staff to both engage in, and often lead research and innovation initiatives KidsAbility.
