Aileen Costigan, (PhD, OT Reg. (Ont.)), is a Research Associate at Western University and Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University. She has practiced clinically in Ontario in school-based rehabilitation services and in children’s treatment centers. Her research contributions have explored access to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for young children with motor issues, the role of seating and positioning in AAC, and the state of preservice training in AAC for rehabilitation and educational professionals.
